Title : TransHab, the large-volume inflatable space vehicle under development at the Johnson Space Center
Caption :
TransHab, the large-volume inflatable space vehicle under development at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), is seen just outside the huge doorway for Chamber A in the Space Environment and Simulation Laboratory (SESL). TransHab is a new design for a habitation element for lengthy space missions. The concept could be developed as a habitation or even a laboratory module for the International Space Station (ISS). The photo was taken during the three-day Inspection 98 event in October hosted by JSC.
